Chapter 1: Dawn of Time

Chapter One, Dawn of Time, describes our understanding of the Universe as that understanding evolved from earliest times to the present day to highlight that the ancients were ignorant of the true size and age of God’s creation when all religions were formulated. The chapter touches briefly on the Big Bang when the Universe came into existence as a hot (~1027 K) primal form of energy, which the work proposes be called primordium. The extraordinary events of the first second when the four forces (gravity, electromagnetism, weak nuclear force, and strong nuclear force) and matter condensed out of the cooling primordium are briefly summarized.
